Edit formatted text in sales order

Hi,

We have a requirement to pop up a text message to the user for some materials where the user is required to enter his inputs in the text box. We have used material sales text with a text type that pops up the sales text when the line item is entered.

The text that is maintained in the material sales text has two / three lines of Heading which specifies the type of information to be captured in the text box. However, if the material sales text has more than one line of text, the pop-up text that is presented does not allow the text to be edited, but expects the user to go to item details and open the text in the text editor.

Is there a way where the requirement to go to the text editor can be avoided OR if the text editor can be accessed without having to go to the item details / text screen ?

Hi

We managed to get the text to be editable in the initial screen by maintaining text by changing the text editor. For multiple lines, we used the indicator '/' on the subsequent lines.

hi,

i hope this can be solved by using the check box in VOTXN.

it is TEXT ON SCREEN.

by checking this, the sales order will have a POP up BOX in the below screen of sales order and if you enter any thing there it will go to items details in item level of the output.

Read OSS Note 502941 - Texts from material master are formatted in sales document.

This is standard behavior of SAP system.

If you want to satisfy user requirement, then you need to go for enhancement.
