Increase historical data on ST03N

Hello experts,

Would you please let us know how can we extend the period of the historical and statistical data that is saved to be consulted on transaction ST03N?

In this momment we have it configured to save the last three months of historical information but we would like to keep at least the last 12 months, is ther any singificant impact in the growth of the DB?

Hello,

You can increase the retention for different workload statistics in transaction ST03N.

Small extract from SAP Note 1006116:

<h3>Check the retention times of the workload statistics (ST03N: Collector and Performance DB -> Performance Database -> Workload Collector Database -> Control). </h3>

All workload statistics are logged in table MONI and tables that start with SWNC*.

You can check the growth of these tables the coming months.

When they become too big you can reset the retention period and cleanup the data via transaction ST03N.
