AVC Check at commitment item Group Level

I would like to know whether it is possible to do the Availability Control at Superior commitment item or Commitment item Group Level.

I request the experts to share your knowledge on the above scenario please...

Hi ,

Availability control can be done at superior commitment item .

please ensure that you enter the correct superior commitment item in the create commitmen item transaction that is FMCIA .

if you enter the superior commitment item there then system will check the budget on superior commitment item .

hope this suffices .

Hi,

It's certainly possible and there are different ways to achieve it. You can do it either via budget addresses or via AVC control objects. Here I'm speaking about superior commitment item. If you want to act on group level, then cover eligibility will be the best option.
