Hi Experts ,
Can you please let me know how i can archive EWA report in Solution Manager
Regards,
Kamal
Hello Kamal,
Are you getting stuck at a particular part in archiving? Otherwise, the easiest way to accomplish this task is to fully go through the note 546685 which does fully talk about this.
Thanks,
Mark

Hello Kamal,
You can get the values from the following Note
Note 595563 - Database storage for ArchiveLink
Please review this note.
But the values are thus:
Use Transaction OAC0 to create a new repository.
Use the following parameters:
Repository : Max. two characters, for example, DB
Document area : ArchiveLink
Storage type : R/3 database
Storage subtype: normal
Version no. : 0046
Contents table : <table name> for example: ZCONT_DB
Exchange directory: <directory name> for example:
server\share\
The above are examples so the Name of the Repository, the Table Name and the Exchange Directory values will be determined
by yourself. The rest of the values you can use.
Regards,
Paul
Hi Paul ,
Repository : DB
Document area : ArchiveLink
Storage type : SAP Database Storage
Storage subtype: normal
Version no. : 0046
Contents table : ZCONT_DB (Copied from SDKONT.. in SE11)
Exchange directory: /sapcd/<SID>_Archive
This directory is shared drive on Unix . Our DB and CI is on different host. So Common Drive /sapcd is mounted

Kamal
Hello Kamal,
Thank you, now in OAC0 when you click on test connection for this connection, does it work or do you get an error at this point?
Because you are already a step past this one, we want to see if we had connectivity at this point, because we may have missed something as you should be able to ttest the connection to the repository once it is created, if it was created correctly.
Also, have you done the IMG activities in SPRO?
Regards,
Paul
Hello Kamal,
This help library entry sumarizes http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm70ehp1_sp23/helpdata/en/87/7b726c30db4348a6766eaeeedbf65d/frameset.htm
Howerver, please review SAP Note 546685 - Archiving in Solution Manager (Operations) as this note goes into the details of it.
Keep in mind you require a 3rd party Archive system, or a content server. It may be possible to do it to disk on the Solution manager system too. But I believe the note describes.
Regards,
Paul
