PI Integration builder not working with IE8

Out Citrix Logon has been upgrades with IE8 but We are now unable to to launch the Netweaver Exchange Infrastructure Integration Builder: Configuration Integration Directory.

We get the following error:

Hello David

I wouldn't recommend using IE8, you will notice other issues as well. Although some SAP notes already exist, I think it's better to use IE7 for the time being.

You can also try the compatibility mode in IE8 to solve some issues.

Hi Tom,

Using IE7 is not an option at this time. The Citrix Server has already been updated.

IE8 works fine with the systems that have been patchec to EHP1 and above.

We have a work around for systems that have not been upgraded by using a laptop thaty still has IE6 for the non patched systems.

Please check note 929144

Apply the latest patch for the CORE-TOOLS component

In addition to the deployment you have to initialize the WebStart statusfor the Repository and Directory. You may do this on the Exchange Infrastructure Tool Page (http://<server>:<port>/rep)via Administration.

On tab Repository select Java Web Start Administration and then

Re-initialization. Select tab Directory and perform the same steps.

I don't know which PI version you are using but it may help
