Hello,
on marketplace we don't find kernel for Windows Server 32-bit i586.
There are only for Windows Server on IA32 32bit.
This is in all Releases from 4.6C to 7.0
Also in PAM are only entries for Windows Server on IA32 32bit.
Does anybody knows the reason?
Best regards
Petra Wöritz
Hi,
Because they are the same. SAP choose to call x86 32 bit (or i586 32bit) as IA32 (Intel Architecture 32 bit)...

IA32 32bit is the official architecture used by Intel for the 32 Bit Chips.
For Windows there is only one 32 Bit Architecture (even there where several different CPUs I386/i586 etc).
IA32 is already used since some years in http://service.sap.com/pam and also quite a while in the patches download areas of the service market place.
regards
Peter
