new Item should not be added in contract

while i am changing the contract (in change) , i should not add an item in that contract.

i want to disable the empty item...

plz help me on this...

You could implement BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI or BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for this purpose.
