Fixed bin putaway strategy for Multiple bins

Hi experts,

I have a requirement to putaway the material in Fixed bins. requirement is one material has to assign to multiple bins with Fixed

bin strategy. As I know by using Fixed bin strategy we can only assign one bin in wm views.How can I acheive this or is

there any user exist or any another alternative. Plz suggest, your help will greatly appreciated.

Hi

Not sure why you would want to put one material in multiple bins if you have 'Fixed' bins but one option is if the bins are all next to each other then rename them to one bin so that for instance bins A1. A2,. A3 etc become A1

This would increase the capacity for the bin and allow more stock in there

Hello Raghu,

One of way to acieve this to do put away in the fixed bin with fixed bin strategy activated , and then do the transfer of stock from bin to other bin with LT01 and movement type 561.

With this you can manage stock in other bins , including the fixed bin which is maintained in material master for that warehouse and storage type combination.
