Block price update at Invoice level?

Hi All,

After creating the invoice if we change the prices in the condition record (VK12) and later if we go to change mode of the Invoice (previously created before changing the price) and clicked on the UPDATE button (in the conition tab / item level) and we can carry out new pricing where in new prices will be updated in the invoice..

But our client Dont wants user to update the prices in the invoice once it is created even though the prices are changed in vk12, please update how control this.

System will allow you to update price before saving invoice document,once saved

update button will be grayed out.

Unless you have ticked the box for "Posting Block" to your billing type in VOFA, this is not possible. As you should be aware, as and when a billing document is generated and saved, immediately, in the background, an accounting document will also be generated, provided, if the above box is not ticked. In that case, nobody can change the pricing because that "Update" button will become grey.

As long as accounting document is not generated, then it is possible to change.
