Scheduling a MTO production order does not create a confirmed sch line

Hello all,

We are scheduling a MTO production order operation using PP/DS planning board. The problem is that after scheduling the production order operation NO new Sale order schedule line with confirmed qty is created. We would like that the new scheduling sale order line will have a confirmed QTY for the date of the finish of the production order.

Any ideas?

Thank you Very much

Arieh,

Changing a production order does not directly impact a Sales order.

Try re-ATPing the Sales order. Depending on the ATP you have set up, the sales order will re-create schedule lines based on your production order. Some people do this automatically via BOP.

Dear BD49,

If we use CM25 at ECC, then dispatching the operation do create a new sale order line schedule line. The scheduled finish date of the operation is the confirmed date of the new schedule line.

I am trying to get the same effect if I use the PP/DS planning board.

"re ATPping the sale order" : Do you mean in the ECC system? What is BOP?

Thanks

Areih,

Yes, you can re-ATP the order in ECC. BOP = Back Order Processing. BOP is similar in functionality to ECC V_V2.
