Hi all,
Does anyone know how to put carriage return in text field? My scenario is RFC returns text variable and interactive form contains text field object which binding with return text variable. How can I allow text display in 2 lines?
Can I set carriage return from BAPI return or is it better to insert carriage return when interactive form is launching?
Please help me out of this.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
In SAP carriage return is represented by # symbol, when it reaches the form it turn out to be /n you dont need any script as such to see text in multiple lines.
If you are using a textfield on the form for such data just make sure * Allow Multiple Lines * check box is selected.
Then if the source is of n lines, the text field will represent n lines with a scroll bar respectively.
Let me know if you need more help.
Cheers,
Sai
