Hi Experts,
I want to know the steps in mdm implementation.
How the process of implementation starts,
what cares to be taken,
what functions of people involve,
Thanks,
Kiran

Hi Kiran,
It roughly involves the below overview:
1. Requirement Gathering
2. Creating Functional Documents.. (This is a very important phase)
3. Data Modelling.. this needs to be done keeping in view the requirements.. and mostly also involves lot of Prototyping.. to showcase to the Client
3. After the Data modelling.. you can look at the interface requirements and Start the Built.. at the sametime.. work on the Technical Specs.
4. Unit testing.. System testing.. Regression Testing.. Performance Teating
5. Depenting on Proj.. UAT ..
Since its MDM.. you would need to interact a lot with teams like EP, PI, Destination systems etc.
It also requires the Expertise of Functional people to understand and bridge between the "As-Is" and "To-Be" scenario.
The above was a overview.. what the steps involve in depth is based on the Proj. or the standard Implementation models that the organisation follows.
Thanks,
Priti
