Multiple inspection type for material in Inspection Plan

Dear experts,

I'm creating inspection plan for for a single material for different inspection types, like the following:

-When doing goods receive from PO, I use a comprehensive inspection plan

-When have material return from production, I use a simpe inspection plan

I tried to create in QP01 with different inspection types (01 and 05), but it seems like just changing the same inspection plan.

Is there anything I need to do for performing different inspection types?

Many thanks!

Regards,

Daniel

Hii,

Inspection plan is classified for different inspection type based on the Usage. When u create Inspection plan for the same material, you have to maintain different TL usage (say ex Usage 5 - 01 Inspection type & Usage 5Z - 05 Inspection type). In std usage 5 is manitianed for both 01 & 05 Inspction type. If u maintian both Inspection type for same material, then u must diffrent the usage as 5Z, else system wont' craete Inspction lot automatically.

Hi Lokesh K,

Is the TL usage is the same as the usage in header?

BTW, how can I link the TL usage with specific inspection type? (In SPRO?)

Many thanks!

spro>QM>QualityInsp>Lot creation>Maint Insp type. Here assign new TL usage to Isnpection type 01 or 05. Maintain same usage in Inspection plan.
