Solved: System Refresh Win+Ora

Hi,

I have a problem.

For checking our PRD online backup and make a proper test system, we have restored the online backup in our QAS system doing the pre-steps as per guide.

Now the db is up and running, SAP is going up but the dispatcher could not start.

We are getting the following:

1.While running r3trans(version 6.13) it is getting return code 0012.

2.command: select username from dba_users;

1. Please drop(remove) all PRD related db user, keep only QAS related user.

2. Check the correct privilege and grant for ops$ users.

3. Refer SAP notes with keyword "OPS$ issue"

4. Run R3trans -d and check the trans.log

5. Check the status of oracle listner.

We have already tried the points pointed out by you. But facing some difficulty. Our points are written in bold letters.

1. Please drop(remove) all PRD related db user, keep only QAS related user.

Whenever we tried to delete the PRD DB users the system could not perform it and nothing is coming. We have to end the cmd session forcefully.

2. Check the correct privilege and grant for ops$ users.

Provided all the OPS$ privileges.

3. Refer SAP notes with keyword "OPS$ issue"

used nearly all the tricks as per SAP notes.

4. Run R3trans -d and check the trans.log

log is getting 0012 error.

5. Check the status of oracle listner.

It is working fine.

Please put some more light. I'm very new to Oracle.

When you are executing r3TRANS -d it will create trans.log in the local directory.

Please paste the lines of trans.log

I suspect an error during creation of new OPS$ users;

what is the output of:

select username, authentication_type from dba_users;

Make sure you have 'EXTERNAL' for the OPS$ users.

We have dropped(removed) all PRD related db user, keepet only QAS related user. But Database owner is still SAPPRD.

After providing the SAPPRD user in OPS$QASADM, the system got UP ...but now again the situation is same. SAP Down.

The system is up now. The suggestions written over here are very helpful.Thanks all. We have done this with the help of Note 50088.

But now we are facing another problem with SAP license.

1. We have deleted all old license from command prompt. As we were unable to delete the same from SAP user sap*.

2. Have requested and downloaded a new License from SAP.We can not apply through sap*, the install button is there but no New License button. After applying through Install button from Front end, It is showing the user do not have all rights.

3. Also an error is coming while applying the license from front end i.e. it is throwing a message that for doing the license work the user must be an authorized user. We are log-in in through sap*!

4. Through command prompt it has been applied successfully but it is not in activated state in SAP.

5. A dump is thrown by sap while using T-Code su01 . Following is the error :

database or is not listed in the ABAP Data Dictionary.

The table is "DD03K " or another table that is accessed in the statement.

We have tried from Command promt several times. It is showing success. But whenever we see it through SAP front end it is grayed out i.e. not active. (Mentioned in point 4)
