Hello Jochen,

what's your import strategy? Single or mass import? And is it manual or automatic import?

Since you are using the QA approval process, the "standard" Transport Management System is not intended to

perform automatic transports of all the approved requests of the import queue.

If you need to perform mass transports periodically in your productive system you must create a virtual system and place it between the Quality Assurance system and the production system. After that you should use the RSTMS_DIST_APPROVED_REQUESTS program to transfer all the approved requests from the virtual system to the productive system. This RSTMS_DIST_APPROVED_REQUESTS program can be scheduled in the Quality Assurance system to be executed periodically.

Please review note 313991 you will find further information about how to configure the Transport Management System for the mass transport strategy.

Check this information:

note #313991 TMS Quality Assurance and individual shipment strategy

In the TMS, it is not intended that all approved requests of an import queue can be imported by mass import.

If all approved requests should be periodically imported into the production system, you must place a virtual system (VDE) between the quality assurance system (QAS) and the production system (PRD). You can use the STMS_DIST_APPROVED_REQUESTS program to transfer all approved requests from the VDE system to the PRD system. You can periodically schedule this program in the QAS system.

note #396167 Requests still to be approved can be imported

To be able to store information about the QA status of requests, you must set the transport control program in such a way that it uses the new buffer format. To do this, select 'Overview -> Systems -> SAP System -> Change -> Transport tool in TMS Enter the tp parameter nbufform = 1 here.

--> please check if you have tp parameter nbufform = 1

I hope this information helps.

Hello Tomas,

many thanks for providing detail and extensive informations.

The problem "was" quite simple and a stupid human error.

Because of the fact we are useing two QA implementations. one on pre-integration and on integration, we tried to release on the second QA implementation and not on the first one.

So, excuse me for disturb you with so a simple thing!

Nevertheless, your provided informations are very valuably for me!

Many thank!

Regards,

Jochen
