When Java objects are on a Transport, is a 'Transport of Copy' created when the Developer selects action 'Test Transport' and 'Complete Development' the same as when only ABAP objects are on the Transport? If 'Transport Copies' are not used for Java objects, how does ChaRM work when one Transport contains both ABAP and Java objects. Thanks
Hello,
The CTS+ how to guide at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10456aac-44f7-2a10-1fbe-8b7bcd7bc... may also help.
The answer by Shivjansi looks to be correct.
Best regards,
Miguel Ariño

Hi Jansi, Our Basis team have already applied the first note you mentioned, but have not installed the second note; could that be why Transport of Copies are not being generated for Java Transports in our dual-stacked system? Do you have a link for the 'CTS+ config and posiblities' information? Thanks

Hi Miguel, We looked at the guide and our Basis team followed it; however, I was informed by our Basis team that it does not mention how Java works with Transport of Copies.

Hi,
as per the SAP note 1388112,1293449 Transport of copies for Java objects supported on charm and for the dual stack the java transport handled by CTS,means you can use the charm functionality at the limit of cts for java transport is the concern.
There are more documents available in SDN for "CTS+ config and posiblities"
Hope your question have been cleared.
Jansi
