The exception was logged. Inform your system administrator..

Exception id: 04:54_26/07/06_0030_1793750

<b>See the details for the exception ID in the log file</b>

In the Portal, go to Java Development > Portal LogViewer

you need to have the Java Developer role to be able to view this...

Thanxs Umair Salam for answer soon.

I went to the User Management to assign me the "Java Development" role, because under the mustHead I don't see any role or menu call "Java Development". I search JAVA roles and I found this:

SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_CENTRAL

SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_CENTRAL_READONLY

SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL

SAP_JAVA_NWADMIN_LOCAL_READONLY

SAP_JAVA_NWMOBILE_ADMIN_READONLY

SAP_JAVA_NWMOBILE_ADMIN_SUPER

SAP_JAVA_SUPPORT

Am I right or I looking on the wrong place?

Thanks a lot for your help.

you have the correct roles assign to you but these are NWA roles not portal roles. You have to go to the Netweaver Administrator index page to do that enter the portal url address and remove the /irj/portal folder part from the url and hit enter like this http://portaldomainname:portnumber then the NWA screen will appear. Then click on the Netweaver administrator link and log in with your portal ID.

Thanks William Masilko for the answer.

I logged me up, but I don't know what to do inside.

From there I have to assign me a new role?

I look around and I went to System Management -> Detailed Navigation -> Logs and Traces -> Log Configuration but I don't see any application error. I need to see the stack error, so I can have an idea on what is wrong on my app.

Thanks a lot for your time.

Hi RLS,

you can see the error log from portal by browsing to

System Administration -> support -> portal runtime -> log viewer

copy paste the exception id against appropriate date and time in

defaultTrace.x.trc and click search. you will get the details of log.

or

You can find the detailed error log in this path

D(installed drive):\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log

arrange the log files according to date check in the latest log file for your

portal logon id to find your error.

I hope that this will help you!

Thanks a lot Jou00E3o Fernandes for answer so soon.

I reached:

System Administration -> support -> portal runtime

but no log viewer link was at the page (which title is Portal Support Desk: Portal Runtime). Did I enter on the wrong place?

I don't have access to the file system to look:

D(installed drive):\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

I think with SP15 (not sure of the version), Log viewer option is not available with Portal Runtime.

For Java Developer role, U need to install Portal Development kit. U can download PDK from SDN Downloads.

After installing PDK, Search com.sap.pdk.JavaDeveloper or JavaDeveloper. You will find the javadeveloper role.

Hope that helps.
