Hi Experts,

I want to know the importance of mentioning the Lowest and Highest Status numbers in Status Profile Maintenance in CHARM configuration. What significance it has and what will happen if I dont maintain it there?

I would appreciate your help.

Regards,

Faisal

Hi

It is the basic config to maintain status number in the status profile

If the "high" value of the status "x" is lower than the status number of status "y" than you can not set the message from "x" to "y",

example as below

10 Open Open 10 60 SLFN

15 EXTH Send to External Service Desk

20 PROC In Process

30 CATC Customer Action

40 SAP1 Sent to SAP

50 SPRV Proposed Solution

60 CONF Confirmed

the highest status ends with FINI.

And please read the SAP 1075899 ,if you nt maintained it leads to incorrect status,

Hi Jansi,

Thank you very much for you kindly reply. May you please help me understand it further by taking the default below mentioned SDCR status profile example?

St Num Status Short Text Init Status Lowest Sts No Highest Sts No Position Priority Auth Code Trans

10 ANGE To Be Approved Ticked 10 10 1 1 SDCR_00 None

30 REGE Rejected 30 30 1 1 SDCR_01 FINI

40 GENE Authorized 40 40 1 1 SDCR_02 INPR

50 IMPL Implemented 50 50 1 1 SDCR_03 None

60 CONF Confirmed 60 60 1 1 SDCR_04 FINI

May you please tell how I can interpret the above table for my better understanding? I would also really appreciate if you can put some light on Authorization Code.

Hi

I hope you maintained wrong as both lowest and highest entry as same..

you must also assign a highest and lowest status number . These numbers restrict the status number range from which the user status can be selected.

Look this example

ONo.Stat Description LONo.HONo.Ini Item Pri

10 NEW New 10 60 X 1 1

20 PROC In process 20 60 1 1

30 CACT Customer Action 20 60 1 1

40 SAP1 Sent to SAP 20 60 1 1

50 SPRV Proposed Solution 20 60 1 1

60 CONF Confirmed 60 60 1 1

here the ticket status is NEW means it can take any value from 10 to 60..if the status inprocess means it take the next status fron 20 60.. it can not set again as "NEW"..

hope you clear.
