Webdynpro Image and Theme issue after applying Enhancement pack 4

Hi All,

We have found below issues after applying enhancement pack 4. These were working before applying pack 4.

1) Image size got reduced

2) Custom themes are not working.

For custom themes, we were passing the theme in URL parameter.

Does anyone have any idea on what may be the reason? Let me know asap.

Note: Nothing was changed in webdynpro after applying pack. we are sure that this happened because of enhancement pack 4.

Thanks,

Rahul

Hallo ,

for the image problem there is a note

see Note 1266588 - Automatic height adjustment does not work.

for the theme problem it could be a different reason.

are the themes are from Portal or from webdynpro ?.If it is from portal then they should be on the same support package level.

You need to analyse if there is any version difference in ecc and portal system.

Hi Baskaran,

I have tried this note earlier but it is not working.

Also we are not using the theme on portal, we are passing in URL only, refer below WD URL,

http://server:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/<wd_application>?=&; SAP-EP-THEMEROOT=%2fSAP%2fPUBLIC%2fBC%2fUR%2fnw5%2fthemes%2ftm_theme&WDFORCEEXTERNALSTYLESHEET=X &sap-client=<000>&sap-language=EN

We have used theme parameter at application level but was not successful.

Thanks,

Rahul

Hi Rahul,

SAP-EP-THEMEROOT is undocumented, i am not sure if it is supported or not. i have seen in this document how it can be used With cssurl. [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/7015b1f9-535c-2910-c8b7-e681fe75aaf8?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/7015b1f9-535c-2910-c8b7-e681fe75aaf8?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true]

Here they use fully qualified url.

1.have you tried using application parameter WDTHEMEROOT = sap_chrome OR ONE OF THE VALUES HERE

sap_hcb

sap_highcont

sap_nova

sap_standard

sap_tradeshow

sap_tradeshow_plus

OR

you can hard code the value '/sap/public/bc/ur/nw5/themes/tm_themes'

2. why don't you use the parameter sap-theme ?

3. WDFORCEEXTERNALSTYLESHEET=X is relevant if you run in portal.
