After PGI adjusting price based on Quality

Hi,

for my client, they need to adjust the price & quantity based on quality check at customer site after sending goods to customer.

For quantity adjustment iam following POD process.

But for quality wise how to adjust prices at the time of billing .

For material there are two specifications

Specification 1- 1000GCV

Specification 2 -10 Degrees

If we supplied goods with above specifications there is no need of change. But when goods are issued the specifications will be same.

But when reaching to customer quality may change to 900 GCV and 9 degrees.

These are reduced 10 %

So the billing should be done 10% less than sales order value. But billing quantity should be same.

How map this into SAP.

What is the unit of measure of this material ?? Is that also maintained as degrees ??

Hi Lakshmi pati,

Here UOM is Ton,

But material is having some specifications like

GCV it will be in the range of (5000 to 6000),

Moisture it will be in the range of (10 to 30 degrees)

here this specifications may vary by the duration of days.

After PGI it takes 20 days time to reach customer site.

So at customer site again quality check will haqppen.

Based on that % of redused quality,price % should be reduced.

How to give these inputs after PGI.

So that billing should happen on redused price.

For your requirement , you need to create a new Alt Calc Type and assign it to the discount condition types in your pricing procedure. In the new Alt calc type, with the help of technical team , kindly give the inputs to the technical team , so that the code will be written and included in the formula, so that as per requirement billing value can be changed

You need to include this input also in the Alt Calc Type . So that if you face this sort of situations then Adjusting price should happen or not happen as per your business process So this you need to discuss with your client and then give the inputs to the technical team how the pricing should work
