Change the batch strategy from LIFO to FIFO

Dear All,

We are facing the problem with the batch management.

We want the system to pick the material from the batch based on FIFO.

But system is not behave in that way.

How to achieve the same. Somehow in the search strategy already FIFO only maintained.

But still is behaving in different way. Is there any other setting which control the selection of batch.

Do explain.

according to my understanding with batch management.

you cannot shift the strategy of picking from LIFO to FIFO very easily when atleast one process is in running mode.

as of now i dont have any inputs apart from that first one.

because i have to configure it, test and say the result.

Go to t.code CU72 and enter the Sort sequence. Then click on the characteristics button. I assume now the characteristics maintained there is checked with descending order. Uncheck that and check ascending order. This will resolve the issue.
