Movement type in Transportation

Pls tell me where we can maintain movement type in Transportation!

hi,

we will not use any GOODS MOVEMENT TYPES in transportation module itself.

as we will use only VT01N & VI01 in transportation module.

and

your requriment might be different

please explain with an example.

When perform delivery confirmation, if we delivery the smaler quantity than order quantity, it's will record the deficient part to movement type 551. So, who will do care this work?

hi,

when goods are declared as full damage then we will take or consume the goods by using 551 GMT.

it is called 'WITH DRAWAL FOR SCRAPPING"

as GMT comes under MM part.

but there is no hard and fast rule that MM consultant has to take care of the same.

if we know the quantity against the G/L account & cost centre we SD people can also do it.

I mean, how can we choose this movement type? Of course, this is an integration between TR & MM. Sure that, there is somewhere in TR will config for this.

hi,

this is to inform you that,

in MB1A you can use 551.

this is a standard GMT where after confirminng that certain goods are damaged then only we will use this GMT directly to transfer against G/L account and cost centre.

sorry to say this once again that,

no where in transportation we will configure this or use this as reference.
