Acknowledgement - Problem to find XI Party

Hi everybody,

we have a problem by routing ALEAUD-Acknowledgements back to the sending system.

We get the error "Unable to convert sender XI party S_Schi300/ALE#LI/ to an IDoc partner".

Do we have to configure the entries for the identifiers (Agency and Schemas) for every partner? Is there no way to send back Acknowledgement without configuring the Identifiers?

Thanks for your help.

Thorsten

Hi Prashanth,

thanks for you answer, but it doesn't solve our problem.

We have more than 500 receiver-parties with several adapter configurations and more than 20 sender parties (all IDOC-parties), so we have a problem to configure an identifier entry for every connection only for ALEAUD Acknowledgements.

Is there no way to use the "sender from payload"-option in IDOC-adapter (Ack_IDOC)?

We tried it but it didn't work.

Cheers

Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,

i showed a solution for that in weblog <a href="/people/udo.martens/blog/2005/09/30/one-logical-system-name-for-serveral-bpm-acknowledgements Logical System Name for serveral BPM Acknowledgements</a>. The trick is, that you route all acknowledgements to http adapter, which is routing them to IDoc adapter. The result is, that you can configure only one logical system name for all ALEAUDs.

Hi all together,

thanks for your answers.

We have the problem that we can't use BPM.

We have installed the Acknowledgement-mechanism like described in documentation "How To... Handle Acknowledgements for IDOC". But the mechanism doesn't work without configuring "Identifiers".

It seems there is no possibility to get "Sender from Payload", because the creditor number seems not to be there.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

Regards

Thorsten

Hi Thorsten,

you dont need BPM nor partner. Routing the Acks over http to IDoc adapter can solve your problem. Did you thought about that? If you have any questions about realizing let me know..

Problem with Logical System. ie. it is not pointing correctly.

Have a look into this SAP Note-792333, 871022
