How to move objects from one client request to another client request

Hi Friends,

In our DEV SAP system, we have 2 clients : 125, 120. We applied some SAP security notes in 125 client instead of 120 client. The request type is workbench request.

But our transport path (CTS+) is set in the landscape for 120 client in all systems DEV, QLTY, PRODN.

We have transport request (and objects) in 125 client in DEV system. In same system we created one transport request in 120 client. Now how do we move tasks/objects from 125 client request to 120 client request.

Can you kindly clarify, friends ?

Kind regards,

Jegathees P.

Hello Jegathees,

actually there's no need to transport this request to client 125 as SAP notes contain correction instructions to repository objects. Repository objects are client independent. It does not matter what client the note was applied in, so moving the transport from 125 to 120 will achieve nothing.

Unless the workbench transport also contains some client dependent customizing (a workbench TR can contain customizing but a customizing TR can only contain customizing) that you added manually then there is no need transport from 125 to 120.

Best regards,
