Hi Experts,
I am having the following setup in configuration:
Transportation Planning Point (TPP) Company Code
6000 6000
7000 7000
When user creates the shipment doc in VT01N, he enters TPP as 6000 mistakenly and he assigned an inbound delivery which is belongs to company code 7000.
Can SAP standard control this? or is there any user exit can check whether the inbound delivery that the user select is matched with the TPP?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Wei Chen
Hi Wei,
We used the combination of TPP and shipment type to make sure correct deliveries (I/B or O/B) are assigend to the shipment.

Company code linkage with TPP is used for shipment costing setup.
Note that not always company code linked to deliveries has to be the one responsible for transportation costs.
However, if you want to control that during shipment creation you can try eg. u-exit EXIT_SAPLV56U_002.

Hi Wei Chen,
There are no Checks of Transportation Planning Point (TPP) and Company Code. Transactions like
VT01N, VT02N, VT03N, VT70, VT12 work fine, even if deliveries with different company codes are assigned to one transport.
I suppose, that the TPP<->CC-Customizing is for "Freight Cost" functions. (we don't use them...).
