Simultaneous change of properties of a large number of objects

Hi there,

is there a way to change the properties, especially the qualification, of a large number (>100) of objects in Universe Designer simultaneuosly?

Or is there another effecient way to import a file that consists of only 5 dimensions and 100 measurements?

What exactly do you mena by Qualification ?

Do you want to change the object definition from

tablename.columnname

to

schema.tablename.columnname ?

I want to change the qualification of these objects from 'Dimension' to 'Measurement'

Sorry for asking I never really looked at it but it is indeed called Qualification .

THere is no generic functionality that can help you here. Maybe you can try to convert your file to excel, format the columns containing your measures as numeric and build your universe upon this excel file.

Does this mean that Universe Designer automatically recognizes numeric fields as measrement objects? Does this also work for MS SQL Server integer fields?

Only floating arithmetic fields. Please cross-check this.
