SRM 7.0 N-Step approval Workflow

Hi,

We already have a complicated N-Step(BADI) approval work-flow for the Shopping cart. We are now upgrading from SRM 5 to SRM 7 and would like to use the Process based workflow.

Would it be possible to use the already developed BADI workflow logic some how in the Process Based workflow rather than developing the whole logic again.

Hi Sohail,

SRM 7.0 would continue to support the Application based Workflow. In ths case, if you feel your Application based workflow approval logic is complicated, why would you want to switch over to Process control.

Hi,

In the process based workflow we can delete ad hoc approver which is not possible in application based workflow. This is one of the reason why we need to use the process based workflow.

We have seen 3EV_BADI_ADAPTER(BAdI Adapter SRM 5.0 Workflow) in the Evaluation ID field under the process level configuration. Can we do something with this evaluation ID ?

Also below are the following BC sets available in the system related to adapter for SRM 5 BADI.
