how can i terminate background job

hi Experts,

please clarefy me

here i created one job with every 1 hr and also it is running successfully.but now i need to cancel that job but i dont know how to terminate job

please give me steps to terminate that job .

it is in production so i can not done any R &D

Hi,

If you have system access, then goto Tcode sm37. Here you give the job name and F8. You can cancel it from there on.

You can cancel the jobs by selecting the created request by logging into the the transaction sm37.

You should check few things yourself, you will get many documents on this..

Anyway, you can cancel Job by selecting Job in Sm37 and Cancel active job option from Job menu. Also, you can terminate workprocess with which it is running using SM50 on that app. server. To find workprocess of this job, double click on job in Sm37 and go to Job details.
