Hi All,

I got an error while execute command startsap:-

idenew:ideadm 1> startsap

Checking IDE Database

-


ABAP Database is not available via R3trans

Starting SAP-Collector Daemon

-

Hi,

Check /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/exe directory. It might not got synchonized with new kernel, and still have old one.

Try to copy new kernel from /sapmnt/SID/exe to /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/exe.

Is this first time you are starting your instance?

check Note 359566 - Linux: Bus error

No I dont think that note is much helpful in this case.

Hi,

I upgrade kernel level 111 to 254. given proble occured after upgradation. Is there any issue with kernel.

Whats your linux version and linux kernel version?

Hi,

Check listener is started if DB Oracle.

login with Db user

>lsnrctl status

And also check permission on "/sapmnt/SID/exe".
