Getting errors while creating SC by FM BBP_PD_SC_CREATE

Hi

I am getting below errors when post a SC using FM BBP_PD_SC_CREATE

Purchasing group for follow-on document missing (BBP_PD 245)

Purchasing organization for follow-on document missing (BBP_PD 246)

Document type for determined backend system missing (BBP_PD 249)

Also , does anybody knows , where we need to pass proc type 'SHC' while createing SC using above FM.

Hi Nilesh,

Here there two things needs to be take care of as :

1. You need to findout to which porg and pgrp this user is attached to in organisation strtucture, because it will initially fetch the data from there and also check if you have any other customization approach for pgrp and porg determination,

2. "SHC" is a transaction type for shopping cart which would automatically fetched from there if you maintained it in SPRO.

Hi Nilesh,

The error is mainly due to improper assignement of Prchae group and Purchase organization, which is mandatory requirment to create a follow on document like Purchae Order.

Please make sure the source determination and follow on document customization is properly carried out (define follow on document for objects) in cross application basic setting and also ensure the proper assignement of purchase group and purchase org used in the shopping cart.

If it is classic/ extended classic scenario. Make sure the Purchase Group and Purchase Org assignement ( with respect to plant and compnay code) is properly carried out both in SAP SRM & R/3 or ECC system.
