SRM - PPS(2-Bid) - cFolders - Bidders restrictive access

Hi,

In SRM 7.0 PPS,

Case:

There are three bidders participating in the bid process.

While Bidder-1 submitting technical BID(from cFolders), he is able to see the respective folders for his ID.

When Bidder-2 is submitting his technical bid, he is able to see his folders and ALSO the BIDDER-1 folders too...(This is not supposed to happen)

When Bidder-3 is submitting his technical bid, he is able to see his folders and ALSO the BIDDER-1 & BIDDER-2 folders too...(This is not supposed to happen)

How can we restrict bidders to see other bidders folders in Technical bid.

Assumptions:

1) All Bidders are working in private areas that were created by the SRM system user

2) The SRM system user grants write access to individual bidders for each respective private area

3) Each bidder has read access to public area folders

Te functionality is working great for me. Please check these assumptions and reply back.

Hi Ashwin,

There must be some problem in role assignment.

1) Bidder user in cFolders system should have only SAP-CFX-USER. Do not assign any other role to these users.

2) Check if bidder users have any unnecessary roles in SRM system. e.g. they should not have SAP_ALL (ideally, only bidder role should be assigned).

If you still have problem, it could be a bug.
