SAP MMC in Red

Former Member

Hi All,

SAP MMC does not start and red in color.Earlier MMC is blank ,coz I have used CC cleaner. It seems it has deleted all the entries.I got the entries back by using sapstartsrv.exe, however MMC is completely Red.

Database is starting. There is no tables locked.I have checked all the services like SAP<SID>_00, SAP<SID>_01, SAPOSCOL, oracle listener.I have copied few .exe files to Windows\System32 no luck.

R3trans -d is <0000>

I tried starting startsap thru CMD.. not working

Errors sapcpe.exe could not be started and strdbs.cmd could not be started.Dispatcher and message server stopped.

To isolate the issue I did kernal upgrade still no luck.Network, IP address everything is set.

Please help me out friends.

Thanks

Sandeep

Hi Sandeep

If the services in MMC console become red you need to do some setting at o/s level for that.

Please check

- the Windows event log

- the ABAP engine logs (in sapmnt\SID\DVEBMGS<SYSNO>\work)

Hi Markus and Sunil,

Thank you quick reply.

I have checked sapcpe logs but there is no relevant info.

No issue with your SAPCPE.exe.

As you are able to perform R3trans check mean DB is up.

Check your startsap.log anything in dev_disp, dev_ms and dev_w0

Please check the sapcpe.log under your /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/work
