Dear All,
We have a following requirement. Reuqest you all to help.
1. We want to upload QA result from excel file.
2. In connective UD We want to do UD on same date. But in QA16 system not allowing to enter "SLED/BBD Date" i.e. Shelf Life Expiration or Best-Before Date.

If you do not enter "SLED/BBD Date during G/R you have to enter during the UD.As this Date derived from manufacturing date this has be to correct otherwise system does throw error

We want to do this because :
We are generating inspection lots in last day of every month for closing stock (Z8 inspection type) of in-process material.
Now user enters result manuly for each inspection lots. But his requirement is for UD of all the inspection lot in one strock. He is entering "SLED/BBD Date" as last day of respective month.

For SLED calculation -
You can use automatic SLED calculation functionality.
Maintain total shelf life in the material master record, SAP automatically calculates the SLED based on GR date. For additional info refer to

In config - Verify that expiration date check is set for plant and movement types used.
Menu path Logistics general -->batch management > SLED> set expiration date check
In material master maintain shelf life in Plant / Stor1 View.
For Uploading results from ECXEL - you need programming. You can use LSMW or BDC program.
