SLD Setup - Business Systyem PI 7.1 Version

Hi,

I am trying to setup a new business system in PI 7.1 version.

I am able to do it sucsessfully. However I did not understand the flow and usage of the Integation and Installed software we provide.

In the Integration Tab, we have Related Integration Server. What is the use of this? Though I am doing the SLD in DEV system , I have provided RIS details to point to that of QA as I had to model upon the esiting one which also points QA.

What is the use of Installed Software?

Could some one explain me in details the useage of the SLD and its individual components in real time?
