Dear Freinds,
I want to give Tolerence Key in Quantitative MIC but it is disabled (grayed out).
Please guide me how to make is enable.

Definition: Customizing > Quality Management > Quality Planning > Basic Data > Inspection Characteristic, Inspection Method > Define Tolerance Keys
Pre-required condition for tolerance key input:
-Status: Complete or Reference characteristic
-Control indicator: Lower or Upper or Both spec. limit

As per my understanding as the tolerances are the std one ( mostly shaft base & hole based system in Auto industry) they are Grey once you select.These are defined by Std SAP

In customization of Define Tolerance Key enter all the "Upper ,Lower & target Values"
do not tick on Relative Tolerance & Tick on Copy target Value .
Make sure that you do not enter in Nominal values.
Now while creating MIC select the reference char or complete char->click on control indicators like Upper lower & target->pop up will show the Tolerance keys>select the respective->this can be editable
