Hi Experts,
Could you please provide us information on what we do in a "SAP instance consolidation project" . I want to consolidate 4.6C system to ECC6.0 system. Both systems have seperate landscape with seperate production instances. Hence we have two set of configuration data and transaction data. So any suggestion what would be the right approach and why
option 1. migrate all data in 4.6C to ECC6.0 system.
option 2. migrate all data in 4.6C and ECC6.0 to a new ECC6.0 system\
option 3. upgrade 4.6C to ECC6.0 and migrate resulting two ECC6.0 data to another fresh ECC6.0 system
If we take any of the above options, could you please outline what all are the steps to be done to achieve the

For such a big and complex project I'd involve the System Landscape Optimization group, they have the tools and the experience to do such consolidations:
