*Help -Create a new device attribute in DOE SP711 SP02 *

I'm trying to create a new device attribute within a custom group in the standard RMM device attribute type - MOBILE. When I run the transaction SDOE_RMM01 I get a return message:

"RMM has moved to Workbench under BASIS SWCV. Check it there"

I'm very leary about modifying the BASIS SWCV to include new custom device attributes

I found some documentation that describes how to configure the registration params and it says to use SDOE_DEV_REGISTER. Here you can perform change configurations but there isn't a way to add new device attributes.

While building the Distribution rule the only options for Device Attribute Mapping are the default attributes created for Device attribute type MOBILE.

Is there another way to create a device attribute in DOE 711 SP02?

Hi Chiedu,

Go to transacton "sdoe_wb".

In drop down box (left panel), select "Receiver Meta model".

Enter * in text box below drop down and press enter.

Select Mobile and Right click on it.

Select Create Custom Group and fill details regarding it and save and Generate it.

Done.

Hi Chiedu,

In Workbench iteself there is a option to create Custom Group & its attributes.

Please select Receiver Meta Model instead of Software Component Version from the list box (dropdown box), it will display RMM 'Mobile'.
