Hi,
We are trying to connect a XI 3.0 to a SLD (version 7.1). SLDCHECK works perfectly, however XI data (Domain, XI components) are not created in SLD.
Therefore, in Directory we cannot retrieve Business System for creating interfaces (we get the error "Access to object list of type "BusinessSystem" using the InternalEOAService BusinessSystemAccessor failed").
We are applying the notes 764176 and 1117249, but neither XI Domain nor XI components are not registrated when XI J2ee server is restarted.
We have also clear CPAcache but not working.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance,
Samantha.
Hello Samantha,
Iu2019m listing some steps you should check. These steps are the most common causes for the issue you have now.
Please follow them in order to have the XI Domain and components registered in the SLD. Then, youu2019ll be able to perform the changes in the Directory.
1)
Is your SLD a central SLD?
If so, you must follow the steps of this note:
939592 - PI Usage Configuration versus Central SLD
2)
This issue can often be caused by a problem with the PI service users.
Can you please check the following:
- Do the service users exist (PIDIRUSER, PIREPUSER, PILDUSER, ...)
- Are they locked?
- Please ensure that the passwords set for these service users are consistent by applying note:
721548 - Changing the passwords of the XI 3.0 service users
3)
Check if the parameter com.sap.aii.ibrep.core.usage_type is set to 'XPI'. Please log on your NWA and find the service 'XPI Service: AII Config Service' and then you will find this parameter.
4)
Do the PI service users have the required roles assigned and do they have their profiles generated?
That is the most likely reason of why PI components are not being registered into the SLD. Please review the authorizations of PI service users to access the SLD. You can check this logging into the SLD UI -> Administration Tab with one of the PI technical users.
5)
Please carefully go through the note below
#1278563 - Specification of message server host in Exchange Profile
If the message server property is defined, also the property
"com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.sld.name"
must be set. If lacking, please add it to the section "Connections" and assign the value formed according to rules in the note.
6)
In addition, please check in the Exchange profile whether all the parameters under u201CConnectionsu201D tab are set accordingly. In order to access the exchange profile, go to:
http://<host name>:<j2ee port>/exchangeProfile
7)
After all that, please apply note 764176 again.
After you check all the above, should the issue persists, please restart the following two applications:
com.sap.aii.af.app
com.sap.aii.af.cpa.app
You can do this in the Visual Administrator:
Choose Cluster -> Server -> Services -> Deploy
- In the right frame, select the radio button Application.
This will trigger an attempt of registering the Adapter engine in the SLD. If it fails, it will be logged in the defaultTrace the reason of the failure. So you can check the defaultTrace for further details of the issue.
😎
After they are registered in the SLD, can you also please clear the SLD cache in Integration Directory:
Menu: Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache.
I hope this helps you with this matter.
Best wishes,
Jorge Eidelwein

Hello Samantha,
It's not recommended that you run tha Wizard more than once.
It can lead you to more behaviours.
Pay attention on the Jorge's recommendation and in case you need reference
for the Wizard procedure, do it MANUALLY by following the link below:
