Inspection Lot is not getting generated with 08 type

Dear Gurus

We are transferring the raw material from one plant to other using STO, In MIGO , while receiving the material , When i select the goods receipt & outbound delievery ,and post , system does not create a inspection lot, although in the material master inspection type 08 is activated .

Please help

Dear,

Can you tell where you have activated inspecton type, in issuing plant MMR or recieving plant MMR?

Maintain inspection type 08 in MMR of recieving plant and check (inbound delivery).

Or,

Activate inspection type 01 in MMR of recieving plant. Use MIGO to recieve material and check.

Also check whether quality inspeciton is activated for the movement types you are using.

Which type of inspection lot will create is actually depends upon the kind of STO you are doing

One step ,two step STO-MM or STO-SD-MM.

Now If I presume that you are doing the outbound delivery then there can be chances of creating 01 or also 02 depending upon what you are doing in the receiving plant.

08 will be mainly supported when you are not using the delivery

Dear did you assigned the inspection type 01 for material in receiving plant with post to QI stock if not check in MM QM view and change accordingly and check again.
