Job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR is getting failed with Dump COMPUTE_BCD_O

Hi Colleagues,

In our ECC (Prod) system Job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR has been scheduled hourly.It is getting failed 3 times daily

at 9: 00 ,14 :00 and 23:00 oclock following job log.For rest of time it is getting completed successfully.

Job started

Step 001 started (program RSCOLL00, variant , user ID DDIC)

ABAP/4 processor: COMPUTE_BCD_OVERFLOW

Job cancelled

i am also getting similar dump as mentioned in the below link

but as per SAP note 81670 in DEV and QA System job is running fine and i FOUND Program "RSTUNE80" has same code in Prod as well. Please let me know what are the possible reasons behind job getting failed daily at specific timimgs.

There is standard note for this error from SAP either apply those or take System restart.The problem is due to long run of system causes overfow in counters so system restart will reset counters.

Hi,

YouR Prod activities and data will be very high when compared with Dev and Qas.

Please provide your SAP version information--SP's, Kernel, DB, OS..

Check what was the load on the system during the failure times, the dump was related to memory problem.
