Skip not happening for inspection lot

Dear All,

i created DMR( at lot creation) to skip 9 lots out of 10 . assign this DMR to inspection plan Header. done setting in QM view of material master-1) skip allow and 2) auto UD.

while doing GR against PO for material inspection lot is at stage 2(where skip is ticked in DMR) but status is not showing SKIP and also RR tab amd char. is not grey.

what may be the reason that inspection lot is not skip. is there any configuration required for this.

go to qa32, from layout select skip field. check whether skip =X is present.

please check whether u have maintained 'Inspect with task list' indicator in insp. type in material master.

Dear did you check the vendor assignment in plan and variant for skip lots as i mentioned in my previous reply?

Hi,

vendor assignmentis not require as there is only one vendor for the material variant is require for auto UD .

here my issue is ... inspection lot created is at stage 2(in DMR i design stage 2 as skip ticked) but even thought lot is not skip lot i.e. status of lot is not SKIP and RR and char are not grey.

check the characteristics maintained in inspection plan, check the Weighting of the characteristics.

in config - Quality Management-Quality Planning-Basic Data-Inspection Characteristic, Inspection Method-Define Characteristic Weighting-Critical characteristic-check whether no skip allowed indicator is set

this may be the reason

if u are testing in dev or quality just accept this lot and create another one and check whether it is moving to skip.

once check ur dmralso whether everything is maintained corectly

Dear Check these

1. Vendor in the Material assignment of the Task list Header.Inspection lot will be created but stock will be posted into unrestricted.

2.variant in QA10 then set up in QA17 and make sure you click on skip lots in the QA10 variant.
