SAP solution Manager Installation

i want someone to check with me the installation steps for SAP solution manager

first we installed Databe SQL 2003

Second we Made setup for Sap solution 7.0 EHP1>Sap systems>MSSQL Server > Centeral system > Centeral System.

third we made Installation for Solution Manager Diagnostic

fouth we Configure SLD(System Landscape Directoy)

then we installed SAP GUI LOGin on a remote pc and started opening Solution Manager.

but after opening it always shows this meesgae " you are not Authorized to use transaction ....

please check if there is something missing in SAP solution Manager Instllation.

Hi

Your installation is fine, please do this for get the access for the smsy tcode

SPRO > SAP Refernce IMG


SolMan Implementation Guide--


SAP SolMan -> Basic Settings -> SAP SolMan System -> Authorisation /Users -> perform the actions which specified there

please update your result.

Note: You opened two thread for the same issue, please close the anyone,since its duplicate

how to check the user we are logged with has any assinged role?

and where can i find the instllation Guide for Sap Solution Manager as we need to Generate Sap Solution Manager Key which will help us to Install IDES.

Hello,

You can check assigned roles to users in SU01.

Run transaction SU01, enter the user, click the Roles Tab, and here you can see what roles have been assigned to the user.

Hi,

This is very basic question, you should check the installation guide. As far as your error is concerned, check whether user from which you are logged in has any role assigned or not.
