The Price of a Material is 12796.27 for One Lac Qty.
SAP has the provision for PER as 10000.
2 Digits are allowed after decimal in Base Price and few others.
This leads to a some difference in Total Amount, related Excise & other Amounts as well.
For example Rs. 3 in the below case.
Qty Price Per Lac Price Per Unit Price Per Unit Total Amount
Legacy 10000000 12796.27 0.1279627 1.279627 1279627.00
SAP 10000000 1,279.63 279630.00
Request you to please look into it & advise.
Hi,
You can do excise rounding through IMG->Logistics General->Tax on Goods Movement->Maintain Company Code Settings->EXC.Rndg (Tick).
Also if you want multiple decimal points then that also possible, but these changes are client level, hence strictly not recommended if already postings are done. After making decimal changes for any currency, historical records also get affected by the same. If your system is not yet went Go live then you can think of this option after concerning the same with all other module heads and Core Team Members.
You can do decimal settings for currency at SAP NetWeaver->General Settings-> Currencies->Set Decimal Places for Currencies.
Thank You,
RB.
