hello madhan,

please check if you have the MIAUTH syncbodescriptors installed

in your client. generally, the MI client includes a meRepMeta.xml,

which defines the MIAUTH syncbo, in the installer. this

metadata is serialized on the very first time the client

synchronizes with the middleware and the original xml metadata

file is deleted. you can check if you have you MIAUTH descriptors

installed by looking into the data folder. look at very

subfolders, which is named with the conversation ids, for

files named <b>MIAUTH.dat</b>.

if you can't find it, you can try reinitializing your MI

client and put a copy of the original xml metadata in the

settings\metadata folder and sync once. or the easier way

will be to reinstall your MI client.

hello madhan,

after reinstalling MI client, can you see the meRepMeta.xml

file under <MI_DIR>\settings\meta directory?

if it was not serialized during your first push of the MI

Sync button, try looking at the trace for exceptions.

could you please tell me which MI version and SP level you

are working on?

Hi Santiago,

we are using MI2.5 SP 16. I am using MI Client MI 25 SP 13 .

The application is Mobile Sales for Handheld based on geric Sync.

I can see the meRepMeta.xml file under <MI_DIR>\settings\meta directory ,i am able to see syncBo ID as MIAUTH in meRepMeta.xml file

please let me know , if you need anything else.

Thanks a Lot

hello madhan,

can you confirm if there is MIAUTH.dat file on a subfolder

of your <MI_DIR>\data directory?

just a suggestion, try using the same SP16 level on your

MW and client. if your MW is SP16, try using the SP16 in

your client as well...

Hi Madhan ,

Have u regenerated and enabled the MIAUTH syncbo in the Middleware.?.

i think u havent enabled that in the middleware.

After importing the default request from the merep_810 table, u can see the MIAUTH syncbo in the SyncBO builder.

There u will have to generate it and make it enable through the merep_pd(Profile Dialog)...

Just check , the syncbo is in the enabled state...

check it and let me know ..

refer this forum ,,

Hi Madhan ,

Have you assigned all the MI related authorization objects to the created roles , which can be used to assign to all MI users.?.

We have to explicitely assign all the MI related authorization objects to the role of the MI user.

For example ,

S_TABU_RFC - To enable the data to be transferred, you require the authorization in the back end.

S_ME_SYNC - Execution of synchronization, relevant for all users , like this ..

All the necessary objects are given there in the installation manual itself. Cross check this with the objects u have assigned to the role of the MI user.
