Hello,
we have problems converting cyrillic sapscript in PDF using report RSTXPDFT4.
The spool is created with good driver (SAPWIN5) and familly fonts COURCYR, HELVECYR & TIMECYR are associated with good fonts (courrier, arial & times...) according to OSS note 322998, but only statics texts of the sapscript are converted...
any idea ?
Regards
Thanks for your answer Ganesh.
The OS is AIX 6.1, SAP version ECC 6.0 EHP4 and printer model is HP LJ4250n unicode compatible and with SAP driver SAPWIN5
The spool is correct and can be printed without any problems....
Only the PDF conversion fails for dynamic texts...

Hello
Do you use any specific tool or any sap standard tcode to convert those document in Cyrillic
If your answer is YES ,then we need to see what happens when it takes a document and can not convert fully
If some report or so just have ABAper to look at it what fonts it can handle and what can be changed so that it will be able o convert
Also try to use some another European language which is closer to English and see whether it is able to convert into that
and then try with non European languages
also see what is the process end users are using to get the PDF in Cyrillic or any other language
Hope helps
Success!!
Hello
Generally what I have observed with this kind of language is ,depending on printer model we can get the driver and upload it in SAP
I had done in one of the project for HP printer for some Russian or Cyrillic ,can not remember now
May be this can help you or please let us know printer model ,OS and SAP version
Success!!
