Assign Model 000 to Product not possible ?

Hello Folks,

i need your help. I like to assign a new model to an existing product inside APO SCM 5.0. Standard behavior "/SAPAPO/MAT1", i have entered Product and Location, clicked on the Model Assigment Button, assigned it to Model 000, green arrow appears and after that i hit execute. An Error message "Model 000 cannot be changed (locked by user )" appears. Strange behavior, because nobody lockes this material. Do i do something wrong ? Please help. Any ideas ?

Hi,

can you check whether you are having authorization to assign the products in model.

You can check the objects version (C_APO_VERS), product (C_APO_PROD), location

(C_APO_LOC), location product (C_APO_PROD)

as you said. It was an Authorization issue. Sometime SAP send us in the wrong directions....
