Hi Team,

Can you share me BI to BO , Universe & reports development step by step document.

How I can make my Universe complex based on BI user authorizations??

Any other scenarios I can focus upon... please

I would suggest you to get trained or do sample reporting by installing BO trail version or work on Sandbox.

@Universe: We don't have much work in BO, everthing we will do in BEx level.

Authorizations: All BI transport roles will imported to BO, you can see them in CMC. But you have to assign them for BO access like Universe, WebI etc...,

Suggested link will give you info.

Prerequisite:

>>BEx Query

>> Properties >> Advanced tab >> Check "Allow External Access" (BW3.5)

>> Advanced tab >> Check (BI 7.0)

Go to Universe Designer:

>> New Connection:

>> SAP datasource

>> SAP BW system details

>> Point to the BEx query

>> Save Universe &

>> Export it

Next steps are, which reports you are going to develop like

Web Intelligence

Desktop

Crystal Reports

Or

LiveOffice

QaaWS

Then Xcelsius Dashboarding or BO dashboarding.
