The account assignment category X can be used to allow for multiple cost allocations within 1 line item against different Cost Objects like Internal Order (F), Cost Center (K), and WBS elements (P).

You can configure the account assginment category in OME9

All,

Thank you for your advice.

I checked OME9 but still not clear for me. could you still help me?

If the configration of "X" in OME9 is the same as Category "K" or "F",

when I use category "X" in PO, result is the same as "K" or "F"?

Or SAP has specific function acoording to each category?

Thanks

Thank you.

As final confirmation, when use category "X", we can post multi cost centers in a PO line.

(In case of Category "K", it's just just single cost center,)

Is this correct?

Thanks

Its a single account assignment for consumption posting. Instead of using Acct Assignment category F u2013 Internal Order /K u2013 Cost Centre /P u2013 Project , we can go for X u2013 All aux acct assgts. ie., it can be used as any of the mentioned acc assignments as per your requirement with different G/L accounts.

You can see the settings in SPRO<<MM<<Purchasing<<Maintain Acc assignments<<X (details)
