multiple engines on the same system

hi,

Can anyone tell me how i can setup multiple j2ee engine instances on the same system. I know that this is possible if the instances are from different releases. I currently want to install multiple 710 AP 7 instances on a system. But it dosent work . I am assuming it is because the servers listen on the same port.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Regards,

anoop

Hi,

Create multiple instances as follows,

1. Select NetWeaver'04 Java System(J2EE Only)

2. <DB>->Central System ->Custom Installation

Use different SystemID while giving input parameters.

You can have multiple instances on the same

application server,

Hi Srinivasan,

The 710 engine installation does not have a customised setup option. It comes in a zipped format and you can only choose which DB you want to install. In other words it dosent use sapinst. How do we overcome this problem?
