Subcomponents in QM01

HI,

Currently business is scarpping the assembly parts via QM01 transction.

Requirment is : Business wants to diplay components details in the assemble colunm under defect tab instead of selecting details from Bom

How to acheive this .

Did you try to implement the customer exit 'QQMA0020' - determining BOM usage at BOM explosion.

HI,

Regret for not explained the requirement in detail.

Requirement:At present, Business is entering the subcomponents and the quantity in transaction QM01 to scrap the same with movement type u2018551u2019 for specific notification type . As the subcomponents needs to be choosed one by one in Qm01 (or) topened in another transaction (CS03) and then copied in QM01 manually, it is consuming more time .

Hence Business wants all the subcomponents as in the BOM to be displayed by default for the assembly field in QM01 transaction .

2. I have checked that mentioned exit but it is not working for Qm01 transaction.

Hence kindly advise how to proceed further.

Dear if your requirement is to scrap the all the BOM components at a time means you can try with MB1B Enter Trasfer Posting.

Go to MB1B give movement type 551,Plant,Storage location then click on transfer posting in menu bar then select create with reference here select To BOM in Popup window enter the header material,BOM application,Receiving location,Enter the quantity then press enter and save.

Check and Revert.
